We have developed a forum for program managers to have the opportunity to communicate about issues they feel are important for effective youth mental health service delivery.

Many of our SYTE partners have expressed a desire for better communication and collaboration among program managers. We hope this site will help to open up a dialogue for program managers and give them a chance to address common questions and concerns.

Below are some of the issues raised by program managers during our SYTE meetings:

· How to develop and fund more available and comprehensive trainings, especially in relation to supervision, management, and leadership

· How to increase service coordination and collaboration, and reduce "territoriality" among agencies.

· How to improve collaboration with other service sectors, such as education and alcohol and drug services

· How to best care for special populations, such as non-English speaking, high risk, and uninsured youth

· Ideas for improving the work environment and decreasing burnout and turnover

· How to deal with funding and political issues without compromising the care of child clients
