Project Description

This is a mentored career development award to enhance knowledge and skills in the methods for implementing outcome assessment protocols in child and adolescent mental health service systems.

Two studies are planned

  1. Examine the desired outcomes of multiple stakeholders involved in youth mental health care and to examine their perceptions of the burdens, benefits, and validity of a state mandated outcome assessment protocol.
  2. Examine the predictive validity of changes in score on commonly used outcome measures related to "real" life outcomes such as school attendance, living environment, and service utilization.
