Screening Impact on Services & Costs for Foster Children (R01)

Principal Investigator: John Landsverk

Funding: NIMH (9/89-8/93, $1,347,524)

Examined the mental health needs and use of mental health services over an 18 month period for 950 children, ages 2-16, residing in foster care. The study also examined the impact of mental health screening information given to social workers in a randomized feed-back experiment.
