Training on the Etiology/Treatment of Behavior Disorders

Principal Investigators: Vivien Keil (sponsor Joe Price)

Funding: NIH/NIMH (F31 MH068863) NRSA

This is a predoctoral training grant that supports Vivien Keil as she continues to work on her Ph.D. This professional training grant includes a number of components that are designed to make Vivien a competent researcher in the area of externalizing behavior disorders. The primary focus of the research is on the development and treatment of externalizing behavior disorders, particularly in child welfare settings. Vivien is interested in examining maltreated children and adolescents and their developmental outcomes. This training is necessary for her ultimate research goal, which is to be involved with the dissemination and implementation of interventions that target high-risk youth.
