Treatment and Services Development Center Evaluation

Principal Investigators: John Landsverk

Funding: SAMHSA/DHHS grant to Chadwick Center (09/01/02-08/31/05, $90,000)

The goal of this evaluation is to measure the effectiveness of the primary program, administered at Children’s Hospital’s Center for Child Protection (CCP). The primary program, a cross trauma Treatment/Services Development Program, will be run by CCP. CCP will explore the most effective treatment that crosses trauma types from child abuse and witnessing intimate partner violence to child accident victims or those experiencing painful medical procedures. CCP will also examine the most effective clinical pathways for connecting children from the initial medical and/or legal system contacts to trauma treatment.
